{"id":431,"date":"2026-07-20T10:52:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-19T22:52:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earthcare-education.org\/earthcare-education\/?page_id=431"},"modified":"2026-07-21T14:19:42","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T02:19:42","slug":"current-tutors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/earthcare-education.org\/earthcare-education\/current-tutors\/","title":{"rendered":"Current Tutors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<h2>Our Key People<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\nRobina has been engaged in community development, organic growing, permaculture design and tutoring\non a global scale for the past 40 years.\n\nShe is the founder of \nthe Institute of Earthcare Education Aotearoa, co-founder of Tui Land \nTrust &#038; Community in Golden Bay, NZ and pioneer ofthe S.E.E.D \n(Schools Environmental Education &#038; Development) programme in South \nAfrica and Brazil.\nCharley is committed to the practicality of Permaculture, as well as\ndirectly addressing the challenges that you face living with our planet,\nnavigating your inner permaculture processes to create new resilient and\nregenerative ways of being, at a time of both challenge and opportunity.\nA local legend of Mohua (Golden Bay), Sol has shaped the landscapes of many minds and gardens in the region.<p><br><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Key milestones in his career include:&nbsp;<\/p><p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;BAg(Hons) from Lincoln specialising in biological husbandry&nbsp;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Began Koanga Seeds with Kaye Baxter;&nbsp;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;Co-ordinator of Waimarama Community Gardens, in Whakatu.&nbsp;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;Integral part of the Sustainable Living Centre of Golden Bay since 90s&nbsp;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Founder of Fertile Ground, a co-operative gardening group.&nbsp;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;Owner\/operator of GroWise garden consultancy.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>&nbsp;Sol has a wealth of knowledge that he regularly shares in local and national newspapers and magazines. As a kaitiaki of so much knowledge we are lucky to call upon him regularly to teach in our courses.<\/p>\nRosie has always had te taiao at her heart, and it inspired her to live and explore beautiful places around the globe. In 2020 she began her journey into permaculture, in the form of Community Supported Agriculture.
